When looking into your required power generation, see if your suppliers can offer solar powered generators for start and finish line power use and additional temporary power needs. You may have local contacts from previous races; if so, check with them to see what they offer for clean energy generation for your event. Try Generator Rentals for power rental - they have a state/region listing for local resources on their website. An additional national resource is American Event services. Most tent rental companies offer energy rental as well.
