Kiawah Island Marathon

What The Kiawah Island Marathon is doing to be more 'Green-Friendly':

• We have online registration only, no print brochures. 
• Our race does not utilize any printed materials.
• We compost.
• We recycle.
• We use on-course bikes.
• All runners and spectators coming to the island on race day can only use the shuttle system.
• We encourage all spectators to utilize bikes.
• We do not distribute goodie bags. If runners would like additional information or a bag they may get one at the information desk.
• Last year, all staff and volunteers were issued organic cotton t-shirts. This year, we are going to give runners organic t-shirts, too.

About The Kiawah Island Marathon:

All courses will run through scenic Kiawah Island. Enjoy maritime forest, marsh views and grand homes as you run through the island community. All participants will have 8 hours to complete the course. The course will officially close at 4pm.
