The Prince Edward County Marathon

What The Prince Edward County Marathon is doing to be more 'Green-Friendly':
  • No printed brochures.
  • No administrative paper use.
  • Cloth reusable race kit bags.
  • CD in race kit rather than paper.
  • One free entry for every ten people traveling together to the race.
  • Using Pickup Pal to allow runners to arrange car pooling to race. http://www.pickuppal.com/pup/erp/pecmarathon
  • Clearly marked recycling waste containers at finish area.

About The Prince Edward County Marathon:

This race is held on the Sunday October 5th weekend, runs in a very small community where on race day you will be the centre of attention. Unlike the big centers, the 30,000 'County' residents welcome your run down some of our prettier roads.

Ontario Road Runner Certified, Athletics Canada Certified, this is a full Boston Qualifier, run on a course that is flat and fast, with just a bit of wind from the west to push you along. We hope you run with us this fall. There will be no better place to be than Prince Edward County.
